Summary: Set a couple of months before the movie. Holmes and Watson visit a Halloween party. There is a fortune teller.
Notes: Apparently, Victorians tried to predict the initial of their true love using apple peel, and this was a popular activity at Halloween parties. It was difficult trying to fit this fic into 1000 words; there's a lot going on in both Holmes and Watson's minds.
